Timing of Treatment:

Dr. Bowdoin feels strongly that each patient should have appliances placed at the most appropriate time when they will get the maximum benefit in the least amount of time. Although there are some problems that should be addressed early, she prefers, if possible, to wait until most (if not all) of the permanent teeth are present before beginning treatment. Shorter Treatment Time:

By using a low-friction bracket system, the number of office visits, level of discomfort, and overall treatment time may be reduced significantly. This system uses light, active forces and offers our patients more flexibility and convenience but less pain.

Treatment Options:

Dr. Bowdoin offers several treatment options to suit your specific needs and desires. Some of the treatment options include traditional metal braces, low-friction (or self-ligating) braces, ceramic (clear) braces, Invisalign, and the customized Insignia system.

Flexible Payment Terms:

Dr. Bowdoin&339;s office makes a strong effort to provide payment terms to suit every budget. This includes in-house financing (interest free), setting up automatic monthly payments for your convenience through OrthoBanc, and long-term payment options.

Convenient Insurance Processing:

Dr. Bowdoin’s office accepts assignment of benefit from most major insurance carriers. We file the necessary forms as a courtesy to our patients so they are not required to continually fill out reimbursement forms.

Use of Cutting-Edge Technology:

Dr. Bowdoin has a state-of-the-art office with all of the latest technology. We use digital x-rays and a Mac-based software—TopsOrtho—that helps keep our office organized and efficient. We also offer the very latest in treatment appliances and techniques to offer the most minimally invasive treatment possible to our patients.

The reception/waiting room has WiFi available to everyone, so parents feel free to bring your laptop computer to use while waiting on your child to finish their appointment!
